Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee for the HK ECMO Symposium, it is our pleasure to invite you to the “2nd Hong Kong ECMO Symposium 2013”, which will take place 5 – 8 September 2013.
This is our second year to hold the symposium and it is jointly organized by the Adult Intensive Care Unit, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Department of Paediatric Cardiology and Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine of Queen Mary Hospital.
The theme this year is management of ECMO emergencies, ECMO patient transport and long-range patient retrieval. There are adult as well as paediatric sessions. We have invited Ms. Jane Sheldrake, ELS Coordinator & ICU Clinical Educator, from The Alfred Hospital of Australia to share her expertise in management of ECMO patients and provision of retrieval service.
This symposium represents an opportunity to share knowledge and to communicate with different experts across the field. All healthcare professionals are welcomed to participate.
The symposium is NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATION.
