There will be two concurrent workshops on 17 October. One of the workshops primarily aimed for critical care physicians will be a half-day workshop on the use of ultrasonography other than echocardiography in ICU. The emerging use of pulmonary ultrasonography and ultrasound guided catheter placement will be the major focus of the workshop. The workshop will be conducted by Dr Paul Mayo, Director of Jewish Medical Center, USA, who has extensive experience in POC ultrasonography in ICU. There will be groups for practice in volunteers if possible.
