A M/53 was admitted for being hit by a vechicle. Clinically there was tenderness over the right chest. CXR showed right lung contusion with no definite rib fracture. FAST showed no fluid in Morrison’s pouch and splenorenal recess. The following scan was done on right anterior chest. What does it show?
Answer: The scan showed absence of lung sliding. This is suggestive of pneumothorax. A CT thorax afterwrads showed a small anterior pneumothorax
