M/85 with Late-Onset Asthma

A large foreign body with pointed edges was found being locked in the lower division of the left main bronchus. The surrounding mucosa was chronically inflammed and nodular. Basal segments of the left lower lobe contained a lot of sputum. After multiple attempts of retrieval with the use of a biopsy forcep, the foreign body was removed. It was actually a 4cm long chicken bone.


The symptom of patient markedly improved since the removal of chicken bone
