M/70 – Left Pleural Effusion

A second drain was actually put in over the basal area but with no output at all. The total output from the 1st drain is around 800ml in total only.
 
Conclusion: Most of the left sided opacity is collapse in nature (as confirmed by USG) with minimal effusion only. Unfortunately this patient refused CT and any further investigation.
