Course Description:
This 2 full day course will introduce participants to concepts of adult learning, human factors and small group work. We will describe and practice how to design and run simulation scenarios. Participants will have practice and feedback on debriefing and facilitation. They will practice teaching a clinical skill and give a short presentation. We will look at in-situ Simulation and pause and discuss techniques.
This is a practical course designed to help participants who are active in or would like to commence in simulation based medical education. This course is accredited for those wishing to become EMAC instructors. This course is recommended for all those instructing at ICS.
