M/25 Young man in shock

A young 25 years old man with history of leukaemia in remission was admitted for shock. He did not respond to fluid and inotropes. These are the echo findings on admission.

The above picture showed a massive pericardial effusion with the so called Rat-tail sign that is useful in separating pericardial effusion from pleural effusion.
