We are writing to invite junior doctors and senior nurses from your ICU to participate in the BASIC course held at Prince of Wales Hospital on 10th June 2011. We would grateful if you could kindly help circulate the following information.
Basic Assessment and Support in Intensive Care (BASIC Course)
Format: course manual, distance learning material (lectures) and small-group tutorials/skill stations
Target audience: junior ICU doctors and senior ICU nurses
Topics: airway management, CPR, acute respiratory failure, mechanical ventilation, haemodynamic monitoring, diagnosis and management of shock, trauma, severe sepsis, transport of the critically ill, acute renal failure, metabolic disturbances and acid base disturbances.
Date for tutorials/skill stations: 10 June 2011 (Friday)
Fee: HK$1500
