Advanced Hazmat Life Support Program of University of Arizona, USA has been commissioned to conduct the Advanced Hazmat Life Support Courses in Hong Kong.
Class capacity: 50 candidates in each class
Dates: Provider Course: 4-5 January 2011 (Closing Date for application: 3 December 2010)
Venue: Lecture Theatre, Staff Center, Block J, Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital. 11 Chuen On Road, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong.

Objective of the course
The Advanced Hazmat Life Support (AHLS) Provider program is a 16 hour, 2-day course which trains the participant to:
&#61623 Demonstrate rapid assessment of hazmat patients
&#61623 Recognize toxic syndromes (toxidromes)
&#61623 Demonstrate ability to medically manage hazmat patients
&#61623 Apply the poisoning treatment paradigm
&#61623 Identify and administer specific antidotes
