Em ECHO is evolving to become the bed-side visual stethoscope of the clinician a POCT to visualize the anatomy & assess the functions to reveal the abnormality to expedite the early Dx with aetiology identification of cardiac diseases (pericardial collection due to pericarditis or traumatic hemopericardium, AMI, dissecting aortic aneurysm, valvular lesions, IVC status and the probable causes of cardiac arrest or shock).
In the Seminars & Workshops, the Faculty will highlight not only on the important & practical principles in the Em ECHO application in acute patient care, but the manual skills & algorithms in performing bed-side ECHO in the settings of Em Cubicle or Resus / Trauma Rooms in saving lives through timely Dx.
HA staff may enroll to attend both morning Seminars (Day 1 & Day 2) and one of the two identical afternoon Workshop (Day 1 or Day 2) thro’ the CoMaS (Course Mx System) of TMH CSTC via the Intranet Hyperlinks.
