Dear colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to participate in the forthcoming Toxicology Workshop 2010 held on 25th September, 2010 at the Hong Kong East Cluster Training Center. This workshop is co-organised by a group of dedicated emergency physicians in PYNEH AED, QMH AED and Hong Kong Poison Information Center who have special interest and training in clinical toxicology. This year, PYNEH AED is the host of the event.
This one-day workshop is a tailor-made concise programme targeted to junior medical staff and nursing staff who are likely to encounter acute poisonings in their everyday practice. Lectures will be provided to cover common clinical poisoning problems. Small-group practical stations are designed to provide up-to-date information and hand-on experience in the management of acute poisonings, such as techniques of GI decontamination and antidote uses.
