Spanish Trip – Day 6 The Happy Day

Dr Carmen Choy, ICU, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Posted on 6 June 2010

Figure. The Alhambra, a palace and fortress complex constructed during the mid 14th century by the Moorish rulers of the Emirate of Granada in Al-Andalus, occupying the top of the hill of the Assabica on the southeastern border of the city of Granada, now in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. Listen to this nice piece of guitar music composed in 1896 by the Spanish composer and guitarist Francisco Tárrega, Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of the Alhambra), played by Andrés Torres Segovia in 1927.
Dr Carmen Choy shares with us her 10-day Spanish trip photos in April 2010. This is the sixth day. Many more to come!!
