Aims
1. Introduce our Specialty of Critical Care Medicine
2. Improve our public image as public hospital staff, including doctors, nurses, allied health, administrators, supporting staff, etc
3. Educate the public about various diseases, especially in their critical stage, and about both the physical or psychological aspects
4. Enjoyment and sharing of anything that is critical care medicine-related
5. Let us understand more about feelings of both staff and patients

Format of the book
1. Bring out the above points in a relaxing way
2. Materials better not too heavy
3. May include more humour, but which should also bring out our image in a positive way
4. The book will be published in Chinese. Write in the form of written Chinese 白話文, not colloquial Cantonese (except for bringing out specific points). You may also write in English, and we will then publish both English and the Chinese translated versions.
5. Add English terms in brackets for technical terms and jargons.
6. Articles are in form of short stories with photos and illustrations, and even poems or other valuable materials worthy of publications.
7. We do not set limit in the number of words, all depends on your creativity.
8. Contributors may write up by their own, or ask someone else (e.g. patients, colleagues, relatives, etc) to contribute.
9. Base all the stories on TRUE scenarios as far as possible with some modifications, but not make them purely fictional.
10. Avoid attacks to persons or institutions. The aim of book is more for enjoyment and education.
11. If possible, give a list of few references at the end of each article from credible sources, which may include medical journals, books, newspapers, etc.
