Two sponsorships will be offered to attend the Asia Pacific Intensive Care Symposium, organised by the Indonesian Society of Intensive Care Medicine, the Society of Intensive Care Medicine from Singapore, and the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society, to be held in Bali, Indonesia, on 10-12 July 2026. There is one special “Leader Summit” session at the conference, themed “Emerging Leaders in Asian Critical Care”. Every society, including HKSCCM, needs to nominate one young specialist, less than 5 years post critical care fellowship and active in advancing critical care, to attend the summit. The nominated specialist is expected to discuss ideas in the following areas, including a short 5-10-minute presentation:
(i) Artificial intelligence (AI) in critical care
(ii) Improving access and equity
(iii) Innovative education and training
The nominated young specialist will participate in Summit 4.0 and in post-conference communications, as well as in ongoing developments and collaborations with other representatives of the region.
Each sponsorship will include a total amount of HK$17,500, which cover:
- Event registration (HK$7,400)
- Accommodation (HK$4,900)
- Round Trip Air Ticket (Economy) and local transport (HK$5,200)
