I am delighted to announce that there is ONE sponsorship for the registration fee, transportation, accommodation, and meals of the above meeting. Interested members are advised to follow the procedure of application in the Membership & Sponsorship section on the HKSCCM website.
The aim of the workshop is to enhance participants’ knowledge of mechanical ventilation and its technique, allowing also the possibility to exchange ideas with
other experts from all over the world. The main topics will include:
– Lung mechanics and Lung-protective ventilation
– Applications of advanced ventilation mode – ASV
– Oesophageal Pressure and Transpulmonary Pressure Measurement
– Lung Recruitment and Recruitability
– Patient-Ventilator Synchronization
Please be reminded that the deadline for the application is 15/4/2023 at 23:59, and no late application will be entertained. If there is more than one application, the selection of successful candidates will be carried out by a committee based on the pre-defined scoring system. One has to submit a cheque of HK$500 to HKSCCM as a handling fee at the same time as submitting an application via the Secretary to ensure eligibility.
