Posaconazole is a triazole antifungal agent which is active against candida, aspergillus and zygomycetes species.
It is mainly eliminated by the liver with half life of about 35 hours. Its bioavailabity is >90% when taken with high fat meal, it’s concentration is increased by 4 times when compared with fasting state.
