On behalf of the Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine, we would like to you to join this evening symposium delivered by our famous honorable guest, Professor Tang on 17-7-2013 at QEH Block M Lecture Theatre.
Prof. Tang received the honorary title of Master Critical Care Medicine (MCCM) by the Council of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) in Feb 2012. Recently Prof Tang was selected by the Society of Critical Care Medicine as the 2013 Asmund S. Laerdal Memorial Award recipient. The prestigious award is presented annually as a recognition for extensive involvement in critical care research and publishing. The name of the award is in honor of Asmund S. Laerdal who created model dummies to be used in CPR training procedures. Professor published more than 1200 papers and he is actively in a lot of researches in the area of critical care. The 2013 SCCM Annual Critical Care Congress takes place in Puerto Rico where Prof. Tang will present the Asmund S. Laerdal Memorial Lecture and the award will be presented to him during the American College of Critical Care Medicine Convocation/Society of Critical Care Medicine Awards Presentation. Professor will by-pass Hong Kong and he will share his insights and knowledges with us in this evening symposium.
