Dear HKSCCM members

The Intensive Care Course for Emergency Medicine (ICCEM) is a major yearly event hosted by HK College of Emergency Medicine (HKCEM). As part of the highlights of ICCEM, an evening symposium will be co-organized by HKCEM and HKSCCM to provide opportunity for ICCEM candidates, local emergency physicians and local intensivists to meet each others to exchange ideas on critical emergencies.

We are so glad to have Dr. Kavi Haji as our speaker.  Dr Haji is a fellow emergency physician and a fellow intensivist, now working as a consultant intensivist in Melbourne, Australia. She is actively participating in various large international studies in additional to her clinical work. This time, Dr. Kavi Haji is going to give lecture on a very interesting and important topic; Intravenous fluid for critically ill patients – What fluid to give?  How much to give?

The evening Symposium will be held at 1830-1930 on 22nd February of 2012 at the lecture theatre of M block of Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  Refreshment will be started at 1800. As usual, CME/CNE will be awarded for participants. The poster of event is attached for your reference.

Looking forward to seeing you all in the meeting.

Alfred Chan
Secretary of HKSCCM

All are Welcome!
