Just read your HKSCCM website & I would like to know if there would be any ICCTM (Inter-facility and Critical Transport Medicine) Course in the near future. Our department is looking for some similiar program to enhance staff competency in this area. Thanks for your advice.

Our preliminary plan is to hold each of the courses half-yearly. The Critical Care Nephrology Course (CCNC) may be held in April 2010 and the Critical Care Respiratory Course (CCRC) in June 2010.

Thank you for your suggestions.

As most PC monitors used nowadays are at least 17 inches, this website is best viewed with 1280x1024 resolution.   We do understand the inconvenience experienced by users having a monitor of lesser resolution (such as laptop), but formating large amount of materials to a smaller resolution is quite difficult.  We will see if we can rearrange things to fit into a smaller screen.

To my best understanding, HA will not allow access to the internet (including this website) in the CMS stations.   All open PCs are allowed to access this website.  However, you may be asked to enter a internet password.  It is because some of the contents of this site are external our server (such as YouTube), and current HA policy only allow authorized person to access these site.  Just click "Cancel" and you can still see all the contents hosted in our server.

We'll keep updating this site to serve the ICU community.

Good to hear from you! At last we know that this website is being accessed by non-administrators even at the construction phase! 

This website is still under construction, but very soon, hopefully within 1 to 2 months, we will see how we can assign usernames and passwords to all 91 members. Now all articles are accessible to everybody, we have not limited access to any sections yet.  

What we do need now is your feedback on the content, because we will finalize the layout very soon. In Jan 2009 I will show your hospital editors to upload information for you. Please collect enough interesting cases to upload!
