Day 1
Day 2 & 3 Workshop
You are cordially invited to participate in the Comprehensive Sedation Course – improving sedation safety in your practice, an educational program to enhance sedation safety through interactive and experiential learning (medical simulation experience).
It is an intensive course primarily targeted for all Doctors who need to manage sedation to facilitate various diagnostic and minor operative procedures in their daily practice. Emergency physicians, Endoscopists, Surgeons, Physicians, Orthopaedic surgeons, O&G Doctors and Radiologists will find it particularly useful. The course comprises of 2 days of small group interactive training.
While Day 1 will feature interactive tutorial on all the relevant basics about sedation (including applied pharmacology, critical respiratory support, airway and crisis resources management workshop). Day 2 will focus on medical simulation, including a whole day experience of sedation-related crisis scenarios in a realistic medical simulation environment (e.g. endoscopy and radiology suite), with high fidelity simulator.
Course Faculty will consist of a group of experienced ICU Specialists and Anaesthesiologists who have instructorship training in the leading Harvard-MIT affiliated Institute of Medical Simulation in the States.
